QUESTIONS ABOUT PRIVATE YOGA WITH MPB
I'M NEW TO YOGA. IS A PRIVATE CLASS RIGHT FOR ME ORÂ MY GROUP?
Of course! You don't need prior yoga experience- in fact, a private yoga class could be the best way to begin a journey toward building a consistent practice. If you (or your group) are new to yoga, we can build a class that highlights some of the foundational poses, with some gentle flows and lots of support and encouragement along the way.
Today is the perfect day to begin your lifelong practice!
DO I NEED MY OWN MAT, SPECIAL CLOTHES, OR ANY OTHER PROPS?
Nope! You should wear clothing that is comfortable for movement and ideally should plan to practice barefoot. That's all you need!
You are welcome to use your own mat or other props, but I can also provide all of these for your group (up to 15 people).
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TYPE OFÂ CLASSÂ IS BEST SUITED FOR ME/MY GROUP?
You may know exactly what type of class you or your group would most enjoy or benefit from. If so, great!Â
If you're looking for some guidance (which is usually the case), reach out to me and I'll gather information such as:
- previous yoga experience (new to yoga = no problem, see above)
- reason for bringing your group together (I can weave a theme or intention into the practice)
- time of day (Are you looking for an energizing sunrise flow? A post-hiking practice? AÂ candle-lit evening session to restore & recharge? Some combination?)
- setting (Will we be outside? Inside? Anything special about the location that I should know about?)
- any other information about your group or reason for gathering that would be helpful to know
WHEN DO I PAY AND WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Payment is expected the day of the session (ideally beforehand so you can keep your post-yoga glow undisturbed).
I can accept most anything other than a credit card payment: cash, Venmo, Apple Pay or personal check.
